Since my last post, life became very busy! Long days at my day job, more freelance work coming in and in between all of that my wife and I are moving!
Suffice it to say, we've had a hectic, but exciting start to the new year! As I write this, my wife and I are finishing the last of the moving and unpacking in our new home. The great part is we'll finally have a dedicated art studio for our projects! I can't tell you how excited I am to finally have a home art studio, after many years of cramming an oversized drawing table in a small bedroom and working in tight quarters.
Art output has been slow but steady in that time. Yet, I've been able to start the early layouts of the Chompbot comic. Here's a quick peak:
Once our studio is setup I plan on putting my head down and hammering out this comic through the spring and summer. I appreciate everyone's patience, while my life has been changing rapidly these past few month, and I look forward to putting out more art for you to enjoy this year!
Well 2015 has come to a close, and 2016 is full of possibilities. I was so busy in December I really had no time to post any work. Between Christmas, my wife's birthday, and our wedding anniversary I was running around quite a bit.
I wanted to give thought to some of my new streamlined goals for the new year. Not so much a resolution, but an overall art goal. What new projects do I wan to undertake? What do I really want to do in 2016?!
The main goal I have this year is to finalize and start sharing my online comic, Chompbot: Search For The High Flying Blob. I originally thought of this idea 2 years ago, and concepted much of the characters, worlds, and even a rough script/outline. It's now time to get down and dirty and start getting those pages done! I want to be able to share those with everyone before the end of the year.
No other updates right now, but I'll try to post more of my comic progress in the coming weeks. That's all for now. Happy New Year!
